Herbert Croly
Herbert Croly was born in 1869 and he was attended first to the City College of New York and then to Harvard to complete his career as a writer. His political ideas towards progressivism were related with liberty and equality in which he argue the idea of both agrarian and industrial economy that early Politian beliefs in. he realized that Hamiltonian and Jeffersonian goals were both good ideas to make a nation move on as a powerful republic. Croly mostly directed his ideas towards individualism and freedom to create a New Republic for every human being to fit in. finally, he said that it was governmental responsibility for national well-being, meaning that government have to protect people from any harm there can be done. For me Herbert Croly was a good ideologist and he was right when he tried to make the comparison between Hamilton and Jefferson’ ideas.
